The AI Assistant is a global chat assistant, available from the chat bubble in the app. It answers questions about using Social media studio and performs quick in-app actions on your behalf. It is separate from the generation tools in AI Studio — it helps you navigate and get things done, not create captions or images.

What it does

The assistant focuses on two things: answering product questions and taking quick UI actions through clickable action chips.
  • Answers product questions — explains how Social media studio features work and where to find them.
  • Navigates the app — opens the right section (for example, your posts, calendar, inbox, accounts, or settings) with one click.
  • Pre-fills the Composer — opens a new post pre-filled with a draft caption and, optionally, the platforms to target.
  • Opens the command palette — launches the in-app command palette pre-scoped to a search so you can quickly find a post, draft, or account.
When the assistant suggests an action, it appears as a chip you tap to run it — the assistant doesn’t change anything on its own.

How to use it

1

Open the assistant

Click the chat bubble to open the assistant panel from anywhere in the app.
2

Ask a question or describe what you want

Type a question (for example, “Where do I connect a new account?”) or a request like “Help me draft a post about our launch.”
3

Read the streamed reply

Responses stream in real time as the assistant types.
4

Tap an action chip

If the assistant offers an action — navigate, open the Composer pre-filled, or open the command palette — click the chip to run it.
5

Manage conversations

Start a new conversation anytime, switch between recent conversations, or archive ones you no longer need.

Scope and limits

  • The assistant only helps with Social media studio features. Questions it can’t help with are routed to the Help Center.
  • It is limited to 100 messages per user per day.
  • It does not consume AI credits — that quota is separate from AI generation. See AI credits.
Use the assistant as a shortcut: ask it to take you to a section, seed a search, or open the Composer with a starter caption, then refine the post yourself before scheduling.
Looking to generate captions, images, or video? Use AI Studio and the Composer’s AI tools instead — the assistant doesn’t generate content.
