How to connect
1
Go to Social Accounts
Navigate to Social Accounts from the sidebar, or go to so-me.studio/accounts.
2
Select a platform
Click the platform you want to connect. Social media studio supports 20 destinations — see the table below.
3
Authorize or enter your details
Most platforms use an OAuth redirect: you’re sent to the platform’s login page, you grant Social media studio permission, and you’re returned to the dashboard. Some platforms connect differently:
- Mastodon — you enter your instance URL first, then authorize via OAuth.
- Bluesky — you sign in with an app password.
- Telegram — you connect with a bot token.
- Discord — you connect with a webhook or a bot.
- WordPress — you enter your site URL, username, and an application password.
- Dev.to — you enter an API key.

Bluesky / Dev.to / WordPress credentials rejected
Bluesky / Dev.to / WordPress credentials rejected
These platforms use a token, app password, or application password rather than your normal login password. Generate the credential in the platform’s settings and paste the exact value.
Some platforms require a specific account type or admin role before you can connect (for example, an Instagram Business account or a LinkedIn Page Super Admin). Set this up on the platform first, then connect.
