Creator Studio is Social media studio’s media-creation surface. It’s where you design visuals — not where you write and schedule posts. Use it to edit images and videos on a canvas or generate graphics from preset templates, then save the result to your Media Library to attach to a post.
Looking to write text, pick accounts, and schedule? That happens in Create Post, not the Composer.

Opening Creator Studio

Open Image/Video editor from the sidebar to launch Creator Studio. It has exactly two tabs:
  • Image/Video editor — a visual canvas editor for images and videos
  • Templates — preset graphic templates

Image/Video editor

The editor gives you a canvas to create and annotate images and videos. You can:
  • Add text, shapes, and other annotations to the canvas
  • Apply backgrounds, frames, colors, and fonts to style your design
  • Adjust the layout of elements, with undo/redo support
When your design is ready, export it straight into your Media Library, where it becomes a reusable item you can attach to any post.
Use the Focus button in the page header to expand the editor to a distraction-free full-screen workspace. Press Esc to exit.

Templates

The Templates tab lets you generate a branded graphic from a preset:
1

Pick a template

Browse the catalog and choose a preset graphic template.
2

Fill in the fields

Enter your text and other content into the template’s fields.
3

Preview

See a live preview update as you edit.
4

Generate

Generate the finished image and save it to your Media Library.
See Templates for the full template catalog, categories, and styling options.

Using your designs

Designs you export from Creator Studio — whether from the editor or a template — are saved to your Media Library. From there you can attach them to a post in Create Post like any other media item.
