The approval workflow ensures content is reviewed before publishing. When team members have “requires approval” enabled, their posts need owner approval.

How approvals work

  1. A team member with “requires approval” creates and schedules a post
  2. The post status is set to Pending Approval
  3. An owner reviews the post content, media, and schedule
  4. The owner either approves or rejects the post
  5. Approved posts are published at their scheduled time
  6. Rejected posts are sent back to the creator with feedback

Reviewing pending posts

View posts pending approval from the Posts page — filter by status “Pending Approval” to see all posts waiting for review.

Approving a post

Open a pending post and click Approve. You can optionally add a comment with feedback. The post moves to “Scheduled” status and will be published at the scheduled time.

Rejecting a post

Open a pending post and click Reject. A comment explaining why is required. The post moves to “Rejected” status and the creator is notified.

Resubmitting a rejected post

When a post is rejected, the creator can:
  1. Review the rejection feedback
  2. Edit the post content
  3. Click Resubmit to send it back for approval

Post comments

Posts support comments for team collaboration:
  • Add comments on any post to discuss content
  • View comments in the post detail view
  • Mark comments as read
Use comments to provide detailed feedback when rejecting posts, so the creator knows exactly what to change.
